  "Leon County Sunshine"

Oil on canvas 18x24

"Everyone starts somewhere, and for me it was the old home place of Payne Hill in Leon County Texas.   As a kid I used to sit in the swing outside and dream of painting this scene, me in my late dads fantastic Model T Ford automobile. Here I painted myself in the car learning how to drive at about age sixteen. The piece was completed in the 1980's."

  "Old Mill Creek"

 Oil on canvas 12x24

"Here a beautiful landscape thrives with life by the preacefull sound of an Old Mill Creek.   In this painting I wanted to create a moment in time with softness and atmosphere that opens the viewer imaginative windows to natures wonders".

"Fragrance of Fall"

  Oil on canvas 12x16

"A foggy mist envelopes the morning as a pair of deer and lone hawk search the landscape.      This scene reminds me of early morning walks in the quiet near the

Navasota River.  A truly mystical scene in the cold of Fall"

  "Navasota River Bottom"

Oil on canvas 12x24

"Leon County is home to some of the most beautiful natural landscapes in Texas.   Here the  river bank teems with life as Spring is in full bloom. Painted with oil on canvas."

"Winters Chill"

Oil on canvas 12x16

"A rare snow blankets the ground on this cold day in Texas as

two deer, tall pines and a cabin in the distance embrace Winters Chill.

Painted with oil on canvas and completed in 2007."
